Holy Spirit Series #1
For 3½ years the disciples walked with their Rabbi, who instructed, and showed them the will of God.
So when Jesus told them that He is going away, they could not understand how life would be without their Messiah and Teacher. They imagined that they would be orphaned, left without a guardian, teacher, guide and comforter.
Jesus told them that it is expedient for them that would go away, to His Father, because then He will send another Comforter to guide, teach, comfort and empower them.
This Comforter, the Holy Spirit is our Guardian, our Teacher, our Intercessor and our Guide. He empowers us to be witnesses of Salvation in Christ. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is God in us, teaching, guiding, leading, comforting and empowering us to be witnesses of God.

John 14:26 (Amp): 'But the [a]Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will help you remember everything that I have told you.'
